CRISTO ES LA RESPUESTA!
2010 found us continuing to work with CELR in Mexico....in several different areas in the NE. Our ministry for the Lord is to find ways to support them in ministry on a daily basis and meet their physical needs so they can continue to minister full time. We also try to find ways to allow them to enjoy themselves and relax some as they work so hard 6 days a week and have to do personal errands and laundry, etc. on their only day off! I love this new ministry and it brings a joy to me to see their faces as they enjoy themselves in the Lord and return to their ministry work with renewed energy and faith that God indeed loves them and sent us to care for them. Just look at the pics below to see what all they do....
The WOTC Pastr's Conference in Aldama was great...here the youth celebrated our Lord with a Christian concert, it was a wonderful and blessed time for all until.......

winds shears showed up and blew the tarps and the big tent down on the sleeping women and children....Thank God no one got more than a bump and after moving the meetings into the blue tent all went on as planned until we could get the yellow tent back up. It was a long day tho!!

A Saturday afternoon children's class always brings out lots and lots of kids to hear the Word and songs of the Lord.

At the Youth Conference in July the CELR group teaches all the attending youth (of all ages) how to minister with guitar and sax lessons, mime classes, drama teaching, and dance and banner presentations as well as modern dance routines to promote the Good News in the attendees churches and to inspire youth to be in ministry! Then...

we hold a final showcase night to the local community (Cd. Victoria here) of all they have learned. MET Ministries provided most of the food, some of the supplies and lots of prayer for all the group and youth attending here.

We are putting up the blue tent for a Billy Grahm Crusade in Cd. Mante, Tamps. MX.
Below we enjoyed a swim at a Cd. Victoria hotel to celebrate Michigan's birthday and to cool off and relax....
and we even went Zip-lining near Cd. Mante one day with some of my adopted kids. It is a joy to see them enjoy themselves and relax sometimes...A Great Ministry!!!!

Here Kathleen translates for Pastor Andrew in Santa Ingracia where several were saved. It is such a priviledge to serve with CELR and they are always open to visitors that promote the Word of God!!

Several hurricanes hit Mexico and South Texas this summer and this one blew down all the tents and everyone had to sleep in their cars through it as they had no other place to go. But, Praise the Lord, no one was seriously hurt and no real damage was done to the tents or campers. Note the street behind Pastor David is a running river of water and mud!

Below: CELR eating lunch in Nicaragua with our friend Indira...a Nicaraguan missionary-translator. MET Ministries helped find sponsors and pay the groups way to minister in Central American in July and August 2010...they were able to minister in the Nicaraguan schools, where hundreds were saved and also ministered in El Salvador and Honduras.

Below is Nicaraguan school ministry...what an open door!

In December 2009 we treated the entire CELR group (not all pictured here) to a trip to the zoo in Cd. Victoria...some of them had never been to a zoo and the little ones had a great time seeing all the animals!! Kathleen even held a hissins cockroach! Yuck!

Below: a meeting under a small section of the CELR tent at WOTC Aldama Mexico Med-fest where many U.S. doctors, dentists, pharmacists, and nurses, etc get together annually to treat all surrounding villages for free! We all get blessed!
Below: the CELR Kitchen tent where we cook for the group and many visitors every day....MET Ministries gave them the stove, cabinets, some tables, a refrigerator, pots and pans, silverware, knives,a small freezer, the water jugs on the left, and lots and lots of food this past year. I love to watch them eat and see the joy when they know that God provided them with a great meal! Working for God is such fun and brings me so much joy! Come join me any time!
November 2009
This is a new outreach for us - well, actually we have been working with this ministry for 1.5 years already and can only say what a blessing they are to Mexico and to the Kingdom of God. They are a hard working group of young people that have a tent ministry and move from town to town in Mexico holding revival and salvation services. They have a live band, 5 pastors, drama team, mimes group, banner dancers, tambourine group, and go out and knock on doors almost daily in order to tell the world about the "Good News". I, Kathleen, have been blessed to be a part of this group by helping to supply their needs (food, clothes, bedding, teaching, musical instruments, lighting supplies, Bibles, and anything else I can find that makes their lives easier and their ministry more effective.) We hope you will continue to support our ministry so we can continue to help them reach the lost for the Lord! Please join us in supporting them in prayer!
Cristo Es La Respuesta tent camp in a village called Corralejo. Bathrooms are outhouses, showers are from a bucket of cold water (which comes from one hose for the whole camp), mens beds are under the big tent (in 40 to 100 degree weather), girls sleep in the semi-trailer, families in the campers or single tents, food is cooked in the blue dining tent on gas grills, most electricity is from a generator, and laundry is done mostly by hand. It is certainly a calling to serve God under these conditions with 6 services per week, plus practice and one-on-one ministry most days.

Above: It's lunch time at the Abasolo Youth Abilities Conference. M.E.T. Ministries and WOTC furnished almost all the food for 150 for 5 days.
Above: Bedrooms for the men in the big tent (dirt floors, open to dirt, wind, and flooding). Most all the bedding, pillows, plastic buckets, fans, shelves, and cabinets were supplied by M.E.T. Ministries. God is so Good! We also were able to supply the funds for the lights, stereo, tv, guitar, and lots of clothing, towels, and personal hygiene products (toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, deoderant, etc.)
Above: Their band plays at services 6 days a week (minimum - sometimes they play all day at conferences, or at several different churches in one day). Plus they practice at least 2 to 3 times per week.
Above: They present a drama with mimes that is very realistic and moving.

Above: The girls and wives of the group demonstrate banner routines, tamborines, and dance routines. They and their outfits are absolutely beautiful to see.
Above: The drama of Heaven or Hell? is presented in a very professional way with a very moving ending with all those not saved going from hell to the lake of fire for all eternity. The message is excellent and the acting and stage set is awesome.

The alter call at the Abasolo Youth Abilities Conference....this is where the tent group taught other youth and church youth leaders how to do drama, tamborines, mimes, guitar playing, dance, and banner routines. What a great way to multiply their talents and get the good news out to a group of dedicated young people.
Another "adopted" spiritual son, Jesus Alfonso (Goliat or Goliath in English) plays the percussion and of course the professional tambourine that M.E.T Ministries bought him.
Jorge David Aguierre (Gordo) in the dorm at Christ for the Nations in Monterrey, Mexico where M.E.T. Ministries is paying for him to study to be a pastor. He is 21 years old and has been full time with the mission group for 4 years.
William (Willy) says thank you Lord for the new keyboard that M.E.T. Ministries helped to buy for the group. This son is from El Salvador and at 25 years old, has not been home or seen his family for several years....what a sacrifice for the Lord!
Timo has a very supportative family that lives near Abasolo and he runs the audio and sound systems for the group.
Susi and mother of pastor David (and grandmother) Sarita also work in the kitchen and help with the other chores and in the camp where needed.
Edwin and wife, Evangelina, are the group newlyweds. Edwin is a singer and praise and worship leader. Evangelina does the dramas.

Pastor David Mata is in charge of the Christ Is The Answer group...what a job he has and he does it so well. Also not shown are his wife, Georgina, and 2 young sons.

Kathleen Medina, LVN, runs the clinic at the Youth Conference where she saw several who had colds and other minor illnesses.M.E.T. Ministeries also supplied the medicine for the clinic.

Jorge, preforms in the drama, (not shown are his wife, Mirna) and son is below.

Even the young kids get involved, Gadiel and Oscarito help out with the dramas and (by faith) the music.

Oscar, (and wife Sonia-not shown) stars as the soccer player and Genesis plays in the drama in Corralejo.
Felix, a beautiful thin young lady who is the lead back-up singer, stars here in the drama as a very old Christian lady spreading the Word and she does such a great job of it!
