WAY OF THE CROSS' PASTOR'S CONFERENCE IN ALDAMA, MEXICO - MAY 5 TO 10TH, 2008
The following are pictures that I, Kathleen, took while helping at the pastor's conference after the auto accident that put 7 of their volunteers out of commission for the conference. Two were killed and five were in the hospital (3 with severe injuries) . Please see their web site for the full story. www.wotc.org
Below: About 700 attend the conference meeting in the big tent, which was provided and put up by Cristo es la Respuesta Ministry.
Even doing communion (or the Lord's Supper) was a challenge for that many and the praise and worship with Endira was awesome.

Martha, Kathleen, Mary, and Dr. Leo saw about 430 patients in the clinic at the conference.

Cooking 3 meals a day kept 16 cooks busy, plus all of us helped serve.

Providing water and drinks for everyone was another big job with the temperatures running close to 100 degrees. What a great invention!

Praise and worship was phenomenal for about an hour in the morning and several times during the day and evening by various groups and singers.

The shofars started blowing about 6am as a call to prayer and were an amazing sound that could be heard throughout the whole camp, I could only thing about the Isrealites being called to the tabernacle every time I heard them.

Prayer time and alter calls were overwhelming with hardly enough room to be able to touch those that came forward.

Hands were laid on Ben (above) and all the staff (below) of WOTC were prayed for at the end of the conference by the attendees.

Below is the men's dorm tent that held over 400 bed mats.

The conference ended with a Jericho march of all the attendees around the entire camp and the staff(about 1/2 mile) and then a grand enterance of rejoicing back into the tabernacle tent, where the presence of the Lord was undeniable.

Rejoicing and breaking down strongholds after the march!

Each pastor and leader that attended was given a very nice Bible and certificate at the graduation ceremony.
Afterwards each person recieved a bag of food, candy, and drinks to take home. What a blessing WOTC provided to these pastors.

On the left is Antonio (one of my newly adopted spiritual sons) who was such a blessing to me. He is also a part of Cristo es la Respuesta Ministry.

And lots of new friends were made, above, Jesus (another new spiritual son) and, below, Tere and Adriana (sisters) who were all part of Cristo es la Repuesta Tent Ministry. I will love and miss them all.

PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR ALL OF THESE PASTORS, LEADERS, AND MINISTERS - THAT GOD WILL CONTINUE TO BLESS THEM SPIRITUALLY, PHYSICALLY, AND FINANCIALLY AND THAT THEY WILL CONTINUE TO SERVE HIM ALL OF THEIR LIVES. I THANK THE LORD THAT HE AND WOTC ALLOWED ME TO BE A PART OF THE TEAM AT THIS AMAZING CONFERENCE!
July 2008 Hurricane Dolly
Well, we survived the hurricane with only a small leak to the living room ceiling - Praise the Lord as there was destruction all around us. This is about our 5th hurricane since being down here and was the worst - we did go to a hotel as trailers just aren't safe in 80mph winds. We only lost our electricity for about 14 hours, but some didn't have any for weeks and many houses and properties are still underwater. We were able to supply food to 22 families last week that are still living in a trailer court that had over 1 foot of water in it. Thank the Lord for being able always bless others - they were very grateful.

Alyssa and "Dolly" at the hotel, she had to hold on to keep from blowing away & it was still calm here. A little more wind (below), but the worst came after dark.

Our yard had about a foot of limbs and leaves afterwards.

Our neighbors fence didn't do well, but ours stayed strong.

This building was right down the street from us in Alamo.
About 2 miles of this fence came down.

This 30 foot water tank was rolling down the road in the hurricane and finally lodged under the overpass a mile from our house. They had to close this road. It was several days before it got moved.

THANKS TO ALL YOUR PRAYERS AND AN AWESOME GOD, OUR PLACE AND ALL THE WORK IN MEXICO SURVIVED THE TORMENT!
2007 Christmas in Mexico
We were blessed to be able to provide gifts for some 300+ children in 2007, thanks greatly to Family Worship Center in Elgin, TX.

Here children from the Saturday Children's Bible class get gifts & lunch after a program from FWC's youth group.

They also had classes on the canal bank and gave out 150 gift bags. This is where we have our current feeding program for the children.

Here are some pictures of Dr. Anabella's recent trip to Peru. Dr. Anabella is the sponsoring Dr. from Reyosa, Mexico for Victoria Clinic and we were proud to be able to provide her with a lot of medicine and a small donation to help the needy in Peru. Please continue to pray for her and each person who was touched by this outreach. Thanks!

Anabella is ministering on the streets in Peru. (below) Ananbella consults with a patient. So happy to be a part of her mission trip.

2007 Christmas in Texas
2007 Christmas outreach to several families here in the Rio Grande Valley....these were to families right here in the US that would not have had food or presents for Christmas.
.
We delivered gifts and Kentucky Fried Chicken meals to each family on Christmas Eve.
These little ones even turned cartwheels in the yard as we pulled in with their gifts and food.

Some couldn't wait and opened the gifts right in the driveway as the family watched.
